Police and Mbale Heroes are back to the Uganda Premier League along with Lugazi FC who are promoted for the first time.
The Cops, winners in 2005 confirmed their return to the top tier last week while Mbale Heroes and Lugazi did on Sunday.
With a game to play, Police leads the standings in the Fufa Big League with 53 points followed by Lugazi (50) and Mbale Heroes (49) with unassailable leads after posting victories on Sunday.
Mbale Heroes last played in the premier league in 2004 after nine years in the top tier which they had joined in 1994.
The trio replace Arua Hill, Busoga United and Gaddafi who were relegated at the end of the 2023/24 campaign where SC Villa emerged champions.
