  • Soltilo Bright Stars vs Express – Kavumba 4pm
  • Mbale Heroes vs Maroons – Mbale 4pm
  • Mbarara City vs NEC – Kakyeeka 4pm
  • URA vs SC Villa – Nakivubo 7pm

Second placed NEC must win at Mbarara City to keep leaders Vipers in sight.

The two sides meet on Wednesday at Kakyeeka on the day match round 26 completes with four other fixtures.

Hussein Mbalangu’s men are a distant eight points behind and failure to pick maximum points could all but end their maiden title pursuit.

Mbarara City, winless in eight matches are also fighting to stay up as they are only four points above the drop.

At Nakivubo, URA seek immediate reaction when they take on hosts SC Villa under floodlights.

The Tax Men saw their four match winning streak ended by Police in the last encounter while Villa drew goalless with Kitara.

A win for the four-time champions will cement their place in top four while Villa must win to move into top five in case Kitara hosts Wakiso Giants falters in Royal Park Butema.

Villa are currently 7th with 37 points while URA are 4th with 42 points after twenty-five matches.

Elsewhere, Kitara wants to end a three-match winless streak with a home tie against struggling Wakiso Giants who still have a chance to survive the drop despite sitting 14th on the log with 19 points.

The Royals are tied on 37 points with champions SC Villa coming into this fixture.

Mbale Heroes will hope to win a game of football when they host Maroons, relegation candidates Soltilo Bright Stars host Express FC in the other match on the day.
