Following their massive victory against KCCA, NEC turn guns to Vipers who they visit on Tuesday.
Badru Kaddu’s men are unbeaten this year and will be confident against the Venoms who are yet to lose a game on the pitch with their only defeat coming in the boardroom.
Vipers are coming off a disappointing draw with BUL and with their lead cut to just two points, they can’t afford to drop points.
Their academy product Richard Basangwa will be the main threat while they look to on form Karim Watambala to continue scoring form.
NEC are 7th on the table with 23 points while Vipers lead the standings on 37 points.
The reverse fixture at Lugogo ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
In Entebbe, hosts Entebbe UPPC will hope to get back to winning ways when they host Mbarara City at Bugonga.
They were frustrated by Express in a goalless draw in which Kokas Alou missed two open chances.
The Printers will move into third place with a win while Mbarara City, on 15 points in 12th place will climb further on the table into 9th place if they win.
In the other game of the day, Police visit newly promoted Buhimba United Saints targeting victory to keep pressure on the Venoms.
With 31 points in joint third, a win could lift them to 3rd place with 34 points while the hosts, third from bottom will open a five point gap between them and the relegation zone if they claim victory.
