NEC, KCCA renew Lugogo rivalry, Kitara visit UPDF as Mbale host Mbarara City

• NEC FC Vs KCCA FC – Lugogo 7pm

The StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day sixteen concludes with three league fixtures on Thursday.

First, at Mbale City, Mbale Heroes host Mbarara City in a relegation six pointer.

The hosts are bottom of the table with 9 points while the Ankole Lions are 13^th with 17 points.

The other 4pm fixture will see UPDF host Kitara at Bombo in a game both teams desperately want win.

Kitara won the reverse fixture 4-0 in Butema and want to seal a consecutive double over the army side after they also won both fixtures last season.

In the biggest match on the day, KCCA and NEC renew rivalry at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo under the floodlights at Lugogo.

Second placed NEC are four points behind early pace setters Vipers who beat URA 2-0 on Tuesday at Kitende.

They did beat KCCA 1-0 in the first-round clash and could seal their first ever double over the Kasasiro since gaining promotion last season.

KCCA are fourth with 24 points, 13 points behind table leaders after losing the Mbarara City match by forfeiture after fielding Gavin Kizito who had accumulated three yellow cards.
