  • NEC vs UPDF – 7pm
  • Police vs Soltilo Bright Stars – 4pm

Early pacesetters could open a five-point gap early into the season if they overcome UPDF at Lugogo on Tuesday.

Hussein Mbalangu’s men are on six points, two ahead of their day’s opponents who have same points as KCCA and Wakiso Giants.

Coming into the game, NEC beat Kitara 2-1 away from home while the army side they host also beat Lugazi 1-0 in their last game which makes the ‘derby of forces’ highly anticipated.

Paul Mucureezi and Joseph Dhata could miss out for the hosts but in Muzamir Mutyaba, Cromwell Rwothomio and Gaddafi Wahab, they have enough in their armory.

The visitors managed by Paul Kiwanuka will hope forwards Samson Kigozi, Hussein Zzinda and Samuel Ssekamatte put on lethal boots.

At Kavumba Recreation ground, Police host Soltilo Bright Stars in a fixture both want to win to get off the mark.

Police have drawn their two fixtures; drawing goalless at home to BUL and away to Mbarara.

For Bright Stars, they have lost one and drawn as many fixtures with their latest being a 1-0 defeat to URA at the same venue.
