There will be will renewal of acquaintances when NEC and URA face off at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Thursday.
The two sides exchanged coaches with Hussein Mbalangu now managing the tax men while Badru Kaddu took over at NEC.
The hosts are unbeaten since December 12 when they fell to KCCA and only bowed out of the Uganda Cup on penalties to Vipers.
Meanwhile, URA are buoyed by their triumph over KCCA in the Cup and will hope to build on that.
NEC, 7th with 34 points have an opportunity to move into top five with a win ahead Entebbe UPPC who play Lugazi on Friday.
At Bombo, UPDF and Mbarara City face off in a relegation six pointer with either fighting for their lives to stay in the division.
Mbarara are 13th with 16 points while the army side are are two positions and points below on the table.
