- Maroons vs BUL – Prisons Grounds, Luzira 4pm
- Express vs Police – Hamz stadium, Luzira 8pm
Following a three-week hiatus in which the focus was on the Stanbic Uganda Cup, the StarTimes Uganda Premier League returns with two fixtures on Wednesday.
At Luzira, BUL visit Maroons in the day’s early kick off aiming to end a seven-year winless streak at the venue.
The last time the Jinja based side won there was in 2018 when Deogratius Ojok and Hamis Tibita scored in either half.
Alex Isabirye’s men are 8th on the table with 30 points while Maroons are just below with 26 points after match day 21.
At Hamz stadium, Nakivubo, Police visit Express aiming to complete their first double over the Red Eagles since 2017/18 season.
Police won the first-round clash 2-1 at Kamwokya with goals from Umar Kasumba and Bedia Ikamba.
Both teams come into the game wounded after BUL lost to NEC in the league and Express were bundled out of the Stanbic Uganda Cup 3-0 by Kitara.
Police lie 6th on the 16-team log with 35 points while Express are 10th with 23.
