NEC, Vipers and KCCA have dominated the 26-man CHAN squad to face Burundi in a two-legged clash in the qualifiers for the forthcoming event.

Uganda, despite already qualified as co-hosts alongside Kenya and Tanzania will take on Burundi on December 26 & 29 at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.

Vipers have the biggest representation with seven players; John Paul Torach, Derrick Ndahiro, Hilary Mukundane, Paul Mbowa, Allan Okello, Milton Karisa and Karim Watambala.

KCCA comes second in squad contribution with five players; Mutwalibi Mugolofa, Gavin Kizito, Joel Sserujongi, Said Mayanja and Shafik Nana Kwikiriza while current Premier League table leaders NEC have four players on the squad in James Jarieko, Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Enock Ssebagala and left back Gideon Odong.

URA has three players – Moses Aliro, Enock Walusimbi and Ivan Ahimbisibwe same as champions SC Villa who have defender Arnold Odong as well as forwards Hakim Kiwanuka and Patrick Jonah Kakande.

Other players on the team are Isaac Ogwang (Police), Samuel Ssenyonjo (Express), Jude Ssemugabi (Kitara) and goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa (BUL).
