Resurgent BUL back on top after Express victory

BUL are back on top of the table after beat seven-time champions Express 2-0 at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Saturday.

Ibrahim Oriti scored a brace with a goal in either half to earn BUL all three points and end a bad run against the Red Eagles.

Oriti’s first arrived in the 18^th minute and the second in the 75^th minute to take BUL to 46 points, one better than Vipers who have spent on 24 hours on the top after they dislodged Kitara on Friday.

BUL have now won two matches in a row for the first time in the second round and coupled with Kitara’s recent slip up, they are firmly back in the race that literally has five teams aiming for the title.

BUL return to action on Wednesday next week at NEC under the floodlights, ninety minutes after Kitara’s visit to Express.
