SC Villa host Soltilo Bright Stars in a fixture that concludes round 24 seeking victory that will see them keep pace with the leading pack of BUL, Vipers and Kitara.
The fourth placed Jogoos will increase their points tally to 44, same number with Kitara if they win and trim the gap to two and one points respectively on BUL and Vipers.
“We understand the importance of tomorrow’s game, and we’re ready to go all out,” said SC Villa midfielder Ronald Ssekiganda.
“All the next games are crucial, and we only have to win. Bright Stars is a tricky team, but I believe with the tactics that the coaches have given us, we will be able to come out victorious.”
The fixture also provides the Jogoos chance, unbeaten in over nine matches to return to winning ways after two successive draws against Busoga United and champions Vipers.
The hosts are without Arnold Odong (ankle injury), Simon Mukisa and Hakim Mutebi who are at school but the rest are available while the Stars are without Yasin Mugume and Kiggundu but Sam Ssenyonjo and Isa Bugembe are available for selection.
The first meeting at Kavumba ended in a 1-1 draw and SC Villa have lost just one home league game against Soltilo Bright Stars winning seven in the process.
