SC Villa sign Hassan Mubiru

A few days after leaving KCCA, Hassan Mubiru has joined rivals SC Villa.

The highly rated youngster joins the Jogoos on a three-year contract and joins a distinguished list of players to have featured for all three VEK clubs after coming through the ranks at Express FC.

“Welcome Hassan Mubiru,” read a post on the club’s social media pages with a picture of the former U20 international.

Mubiru re-unites with Villa interim coach Morley Byekwaso who signed him while still at KCCA.

He joins a long list of new arrivals at Villa that include Denis Kaka Omony, Kato Ssemayange, Isaac Mpagi, Johnson Ssenyonga and Najib Iga.

Mubiru could make his debut against the Uganda Cranes Select side in the Fufa Super 8 on Friday.
