Six Uganda Premier League sides including holders Kitara will be in the draw for the quarter finals of the Stanbic Uganda after negotiating the round of 16 ties.
Kitara saw off Fufa Big League side Gaddafi in a tense clash that saw them go a goal down in Entebbe and were joined by Police who eliminated fellow top tier side Maroons by 1-0.
Joint record winners KCCA humbled regional side Rwenzori Lions 4-0 at Lugogo, SC Villa edged Lugazi 1-0 at Najjembe while Vipers beat NEC conquerors Blacks Power 3-0 under the lights at Kitende.
The biggest winners were BUL who trounced Total FC from Arua 7-0 at the Fufa Technical Centre Njeru.
Meanwhile, former cup winners URA were eliminated on penalties by Kataka 5-3 at Nakivubo while Kaaro Karungi beat UPDF 3-0 in Kyamatte.
The winner of the competition represents Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
