Matchday Three of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League wrapped up with no winners on Saturday but the day’s games at least contributed two of the 11 goals scored in the round.
URA could only draw 1-1 with Mbarara City in the first of two matches played at Nakivubo Stadium, with the following game also ending in a stalemate as Express and Maroons fired blanks.
The visitors, Mbarara, took the lead on 59 minutes through Seiri Arigumaho before URA hit back three minutes later, Moses Aliro with the equaliser.
URA are in seventh place on four points after winning one, drawing another and losing as many.
On their part, Mbarara are second from bottom on two points from as many draws and a defeat.
Later under the floodlights, Express and Maroons could only settle for a goalless draw at Nakivubo.
The result leaves Express in 11th on four points after winning one, drawing as many and losing another of their opening three games.
Maroons are a place out of the drop zone on two points from three matches.
