  • Kaaro Karungi vs KCCA – Kyamatte 3pm

Six Uganda Premier league sides including holders Kitara have eyes on the Stanbic Uganda Cup semi-finals as focus now shifts momentarily from the league.

On Saturday, KCCA gets the quarter finals underway when they visit Fufa Big League side Kaaro Karungi at Kyamatte Grounds in Ntungamo.

The Kasasiro, aware that they cant win the league have all their eyes fixed on the cup competition for a chance to win silverware this season.

Having lost three league matches on the bounce coming into this game, pressure will be on interim tactician Jackson Magera to deliver or else their season will be over.

On Sunday, reigning Cup holders Kitara host BUL, a side they have failed to beat in all meetings with another all-premier league clash on Monday at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende where league champions SC Villa meet current league table leaders Vipers in the tie of the round.

The quarter finals will conclude on Tuesday at Kavumba when Police host lower tier side Kataka.

Unlike in the previous round, a draw in 90-minutes will take the matches to extra time and later penalties if all remain tied.
