Taddeo Lwanga has returned to the Uganda Premier League after over six years joining Vipers SC.

The Ugandan international has signed a one-year renewable contract with the reigning league champions, a side he left in 2019 when he moved to Egypt’s Tanta.

“Everyone at Vipers SC is thrilled to welcome Taddeo back,” said Vipers coach Minnaert.

“He brings great quality and experience at the highest level. He will be an excellent addition as we aim to compete on multiple fronts. I’m excited to work with him and I’m sure our supporters are too.”

Lwanga said; “I’m proud to have signed again for Vipers SC. I want to compete, push for titles, and contribute both on and off the pitch. This is a full-circle moment for me and I’m grateful to come back to a place l called home. I’m ready to go again and play in front of our amazing fans at St Mary’s stadium.”

The midfield engineer joins from Rwanda’s APR but has previously featured for Simba, Arta Solar, Express and SC Villa.

He is Vipers’ latest signing alongside Enock Ssebagala, Odili Chukwuma, Mark Yallah, and Kevin Dasylva Bady.
