- SC Villa vs Mbarara City – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 4pm
- URA vs Vipers – MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo 7pm
Reigning champions Vipers and record winners SC Villa will be desperate to take advantage of Kitara and BUL slip up when they face URA and Mbarara City respectively.
Vipers make a trip to Lugogo to face bogey side URA aiming to extend their current streak without defeat to the side to five matches but most importantly want three points.
Sitting 5th at the moment with 35 points, they could move up to 3rd and cut Kitara’s leadership to six points with two games in hand.
Vipers won the reverse fixture against URA 2-0 and seek to complete a rare double over David Obua’s men who are just four points adrift despite sitting 8th on the 16-team table.
But before that late kick off, SC Villa host Mbarara City aware that a win will take them within five points of Kitara who are on 44 points.
Villa are bolstered by the return of the four Hippos players led by Abasi Kyeyune and Patrick Kakande who missed the last two games while at the All Africa Games.
The Jogoos have won all five league home meetings against the Ankole Lions who are not yet safe from relegation as they are 11th with 27 points.
