- SC Villa vs Wakiso Giants – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 4pm
- Vipers vs Express – St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende 7pm
NEC, Vipers and SC Villa must win against Bright Stars, Express and Wakiso Giants respectively to keep their title ambitions alive with the league in the final bend.
First, NEC will hope to beat resilient Bright Stars at Kavumba to move within three points, BUL of leaders who are not in action as they have played one more game.
The Hussein Mbalangu coached side are currently 6th with 43 points and are buoyed by their win over BUL in both the league and Uganda Cup.
At Wankulukuku, sixteen-time champions Villa need a swift reaction after suffering defeat to KCCA that ended their longest unbeaten run this season.
With 45 points after 25 matches, a win will put them on 48 points, one adrift of the table leaders.
In Wakiso Giants, they face a side desperate for points to escape relegation woes as they are now on 29 points, just seven above the drop with nine points to fight for.
In the late kick off, Vipers host seven-time champions who are currently at their lowest with just one win over six games with the rest ending in defeats.
Vipers who lost 1-0 to BUL in their last outing understand that victory will lift them to the top on goal difference.
