Following an 18-day break that ushered us via Christmas into the New Year, the StarTimes Uganda Premier League is back.
On Tuesday, three matches will be on card with two title contenders in action.
At Kiira Road Police Arena, table leaders KCCA make a short trip from Lugogo to face hosts Police.
The fixture sees first against fourth with five points separating the two sides.
KCCA have Charles Lukwago, Shafik Kwikiriza and Ivan Ahimbisibwe available for selection and will be key against Matia Lule’s side that relies on the experience of Said Kyeyune, Deus Bukenya and Umar Kasumba among others.
Later at Kitende, Vipers host relegation fighting Mbarara City with Allan Okello, Rogers Torach, Hilary Mukundane all now available after missing the last couple of games on international duty.
The Venoms can’t afford to slip up in pursuit of the Kasasiro who play earlier and must overcome the Ankole Lions to keep pace in the race.
Mbarara City are 3rd from bottom with 10 points and need victory to climb up the log and move away from the relegation monster.
Elsewhere, league newcomers Buhimba United Saints host Maroons aiming to end on and indecent run that stretches to over nine matches without a win.
They are on 10 points, and have collected just one point since they last won a game on match day three.
On the other hand, Maroons are 7th with 15 points and want to win to close in on 6th placed Kitara who are not in action until Wednesday.
