Uganda 1-0 Guinea
Vipers’ play maker and the premier league leading goal scorer Allan Okello scored the winner as Uganda Cranes beat Guinea 1-0 in the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifier.
The star netted in the first half with a magnificent free kick after a foul on former Villa midfielder Travis Mutyaba.
The win lifted Uganda to nine points in group G, same as Botswana who also won at home against Somalia.
The Cranes are now just two points behind Mozambique in second place as the world cup dream stays alive.
The other premier league star that featured in the game included SC Villa captain Ronald Ssekiganda who played the whole match while others summoned were unused substitutes.
