Match day nine of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues with two matches at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.

First, seven-time champions Express in a rescheduled match at 3pm with coach Jimmy Kintu Mwere facing former pay masters Calvary.

The two sides are in indecent form with the visitors winless in seven matches while the hosts have won just twice this season.

Express are on nine points in 12th position while Calvary sit at the base of the standings with only one point earned from a draw at Maroons.

Under Kintu, Express have lost and drawn once losing to Vipers 3-0 in their last match.

In the late kick off at 8pm, URA host Kitara in a game they need to win to confirm resurgence.

Kitara beat Police 2-1 in their last outing and a win will lift them to within a point of leaders KCCA and SC Villa and then equal with points with Vipers.

Wasswa Bbosa wants to build on the victory at Police – their first away win this season.

“Following that win against Police, there is confidence in the team and we believe we can build on that,” said Bbosa.

“We want to be competitive and our target is to finish in the top four so we must win matches,” he added.

“URA is one of the biggest teams in the division with quality players and staff and we respect them but we aim for three points.”

It will be the second game in charge for interim head coach Edward Golola who oversaw a 7-3 victory over struggling Buhimba United Saints.
