Fufa Super 8 will have a new winner following SC Villa’s elimination of back-to-back winners BUL in a penalty shootout at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

BUL took the lead when Arnold Odong deflected Hilary Onek’s cross into his own net in the first half and Villa drew level fifteen minutes to full time thanks to a sumptuous free kick by Najib Yiga.

In the shootout, Isma Mugulusi and Bakari Magunda missed for the Jinja based side while it was only Frank Mulimi who saw his effort saved for the Jogoos.

They will now face off with NEC who also needed penalties shoot-out to beat URA on Saturday.

The final will be played on Wednesday September 17 at Fufa stadium, Kadiba.

Elsewhere, KCCA who lost 2-0 to Maroons in the 5/6th classification match will play Kitara for a 7/8th position while Maroons and Express will battle for 5/6th position.
