- SC Villa vs KCCA – Wankulukuku 4pm
- Vipers SC vs Mbale Heroes – Kitende 7pm
- NEC vs BUL – Lugogo 7pm
Match day 27 of the SUPL comes to closure on Wednesday with three matches at three different venues.
First, SC Villa host KCCA at the Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku with the two sides playing for pride.
The two can no longer win the championship as they are far behind the leading pack but want to win to improve their standings on the table.
The hosts are 9th with 38 points and will overtake 6th placed KCCA if they win as the Kasasiro are on 40 points.
The first round fixture ended in a 1-1 draw at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
At St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende, Vipers host already relegated Mbale Heroes as the Venoms aim to move closer to the championship.
With 62 points at the moment, they are five points ahead of second placed NEC who face a tougher opponent in BUL.
In case Vipers claim three points and NEC fall to the Jinja based side, they will claim the championship with two matches to play and turn attention to the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
That makes the game between NEC and BUL a must win for the hosts to prolong the race for at least another match day.
BUL are still unbeaten in the second round and with 49 points, victory over Hussein Mbalangu’s men will move them with five points of the Bugolobi based side.
