First leg Results

  • URA 0-2 SC Villa
  • Kitara 0-0 Vipers

The first legs of the Stanbic Uganda Cup semi-finals ended with Kitara and Vipers drawing goalless at Royals’ Park in Butema, Hoima.

That leave the tie evenly poised ahead of the second leg scheduled for May 13 at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

The league meeting at the same venue ended goalless as well but there must be a winner this time round.

On the other hand, SC Villa beat URA 2-0 at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo to take a huge step as they attempt to reach the final for the first time in over eleven years.

Najib Yiga gave the visitors a lead in the first half on Monday before they sealed it with a late own goal from Moses Aliro after brilliant work from substitute Andrew Otim.

The return leg will be hosted at Fufa stadium, Kadiba on May 16.
