- Lugazi FC vs Vipers SC – Lugazi FC Stadium – Najjembe 4pm
- SC Villa vs Calvary FC – FUFA Stadium – Kadiba 8pm
Following victories for KCCA and Police on Tuesday, title rivals SC Villa and Vipers must now pick victories in their respective matches on Wednesday.
First, champions Vipers make a trip to Najjembe to face Lugazi aware that nothing but victory keeps them in close proximity with leaders KCCA.
They come into the game unbeaten so far in nine matches and beat BUL 3-1 in their last outing.
Allan Okello, Hilary Mukundane and Rogers Torach are all still out with the national team but the Venoms have enough in their squad to pick a win.
Vipers are now five points KCCA in joint second while Lugazi are on 13th with 10 points.
Record champions SC Villa host newcomers Calvary at Fufa stadium, Kadiba.
The Jogoos will be favourites against the bottom placed side who are yet to win a game this season but have three points from as many draws.
Villa have Kato Ssemayange and Sula Matovu back from suspension but are still without Reagan Mpande and David Owori who are with the Uganda Cranes in Morocco for Afcon preps.
The Jogoos are on 20 points in 4th position and could move to second place if Vipers falter at Lugazi.
Elsewhere, Express visit Maroons at Luzira aiming to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat to Entebbe UPPC.
Like Express, Maroons also fell to Kitara by the same score line at Kitara.
In the other game on Wednesday, URA travel to Kamwenge to face Mbarara City.
