Match day nine of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League comes to conclusion with two fixtures at Wankulukuku and Mbarara.
Reigning champions SC Villa host Wakiso Giants with either side seeking a reaction from relatively poor results before the international break.
Villa have won just once in the last five matches and are on 11 points, several behind leaders and can’t afford to slip up more if they are to defend their title.
On the other, Wakiso Giants, only two points adrift are winless in the last five matches scoring no goal and keeping just two clean sheets in the process.
Steven Bengo’s men though can overtake the Jogoos with a rare away win while Morley Byekwaso’s side will try to cut the gap on the leading pack.
At Kakyeka, Mbarara City host Mbale Heroes with either side targeting maximum points.
The Ankole Lions are in the bottom three with only four points and are yet to win a match under Asaph Mwebaze.
