Table leaders Vipers salvaged a point at the death as they drew 2-2 with giants Express FC at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo on Friday.
Emmanuel Wasswa scored a quick fire brace in the first half that gave the Red Eagles a commanding lead but Allan Okello and Gusto Mulongo scored the Venoms after the break.
Wasswa opened the scores in the 20th minute with a header off a rebound from the cross bar before he got the second six minutes later with a curler, a contender for goal of the season.
Okello halved the deficit eight minutes after recess and substitute Mulongo grabbed the leveller with the last piece of action in the fifth additional minute.
