- St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende 8pm
Reigning champions Vipers seek routine win over UPDF that will move them within a point of leaders KCCA and Villa.
The Venoms are on 13 points from five matches and are the only unbeaten side in the division so far with only Villa stopping their perfect run with a draw on Saturday.
Against the army side, Viper who have won 12 of the past 16 meetings will look to gain three points.
Their coach Jacky Ivan Minnaert promises to shuffle his pack for the game after playing three matches in nine days with nearly the same squad.
That could benefit forwards Milton Karisa, Isaac Ogwang, right back Ashraf Mandela and midfielder Paul Mbowa and Taddeo Lwanga who have not had much time so far this season.
Like Vipers, UPDF’s most recent outing was also against SC Villa which they lost 1-0 to Ibrahim Kasinde winning goal.
Paul Kiwanuka who returns to Kitende in the opposite dugout will hope his side snatches a rare win to move away from the relegation monster.
