Two title favourites KCCA and Vipers face tricky fixtures on Friday as they kickstart their second round in the hunt for the 2025/26 season trophy.

KCCA visit NEC at Lugogo in a highly anticipated clash that will see both teams desperate for maximum points.

NEC, managed by Badru Kaddu lost the reverse fixture 2-1 at the same venue and will be in for revenge as well.

Kaddu could unleash his new acquisitions including former KCCA winger Muhammad Ssenoga who has joined from Express.

On the other hand, KCCA who are six points off the table cant afford to lose more ground in the title race and want to clinch their first ever double against NEC.

Earlier in the day, champions Vipers travel to BUL where they have not won in the past three visits.

They face ex-head coach Alex Isabirye who guided them to a league and cup double a couple of seasons ago.

This will be a big test for Ivan Minnaert against a side that appears rejuvenated under Isabirye as they have won four of the five matches in all competitions under him.

Vipers won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Kitende and want to seal a double over the Jinja based side.

Elsewhere, UPDF host new comers Buhimba United Saints at Bombo in a relegation six pointer.
