Vipers and NEC have learnt their Caf interclub opponents following a draw held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday.
CAF Champions League representatives Vipers will face Namibia’s African Stars in the preliminary round with an opportunity to take on Zambia’s Power Dynamos or Ivory Coast’s ASEC Mimosas if they triumph.
NEC who finished second in the league last season and hold the country’s flag in the CAF Confederation Cup take on Kenya’s Nairobi United, also strangers in the continental competition.
Should they advance, they will face the winner between Sudan’s Al Ahli Madani vs Tunisia’s ES Sportive in the first round.
Preliminary round matches to be played between September 19–21 (first leg) and September 26–28 (second leg).
