Vipers want an immediate return to the premier league summit as they host Maroons on Tuesday evening.

The Venoms took over from Kitara last week but BUL’s win over Express meant they only spent 24 hours at the top.

However, with only a point separating them with BUL who are on 46 points and have played one more game, avoiding defeat against resurgent Maroons will be enough but maximum points is the target.

Maroons midfielder Ronald Orombi however believes his side can cause an upset at Kitende.

“We believe in going to Kitende and picking a positive result as aim to hit our target of finishing in the top four.

“We have respect for Vipers but the players there are like us so the difference is the name.”

Vipers are unbeaten against Maroons in the last 11 meetings winning 7 and drawing four.
