Vipers will be desperate for victory when they visit Express at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo on Friday.
The table leaders saw their lead cut to just one point after NEC beat Kitara 2-1 at Lugogo and this makes the game against the Red Eagles a must win.
Co-head coach Fred Muhumuzza knows it will be tough but says his players know what is at stake.
“Forget their position on the table, they are a big a side with good coaches and they can dangerous on the day,” said Muhumuzza. “But the players are aware of what is at stake and will do all necessary to win,” he added.
Express have lost their past four games on the bounce and lie 9th on the table with 28 points.
At Lugazi, debutants Lugazi FC host UPDF aiming for all points to further move away from the relegation monster.
UPDF, 10th on the table with 28 points have a chance to move to 9th place with a win while Lugazi can also achieve same feat as they are just two points off 9th position.
