Less than 24 hours after confirming the exit of Brian Ssenyondo, Kitara FC has appointed Wasswa Bbosa as their new Head coach.

The ex-SC Villa, Express, Tooro United and Mbarara City gaffer has been tasked to take the Royals until the end of the season with an option to extend his stay.

“We are delighted to announce Wasswa Bbosa as the new head coach.

“Wasswa Bbosa takes over for the remainder of the season replacing Brian Ssenyondo who was relieved of his duties.”

Bbosa carries with him lots of experience after winning the league and CECAFA Kagame Cup with Express.

He is expected to bolster the team’s performance and results after a poor start to the 2024/25 Uganda Premier League campaign. His assignment begins with Friday’s fixture against URA FC away at the Hamz Stadium – Nakivubo

Kitara have just 4 points from a possible 18, they beat Lugazi FC, drew 1-1 with Mbarara and lost to NEC FC, KCCA FC, Police FC and BUL FC.

Wasswa Bbosa’s begins with Friday’s fixture against URA FC away at the Hamz Stadium – Nakivubo.
