  • Lugazi vs NEC – Najjembe 4pm
  • Police vs Mbale Heroes – Kavumba 4pm

Police will be like wounded lions when they host Mbale Heroes at Kavumba in one of the two Premier League matches on Wednesday.

The Cops, league winners in 2005 lost their unbeaten start to the campaign in a 2-1 defeat to Vipers and coach Simon Peter Mugerwa will be eager to see his team bounce back.

Mbale Heroes are yet to win a game away from home and under Asaph Mwebaze, they are yet to pick maximum points drawing at Lugazi and losing to KCCA.

In the last two meetings in the Fufa Big League, Police won 4-0 at Mbale before drawing 1-1 at Kavumba.

Elsewhere, table leaders NEC make a short trip to Najjembe to face new entrants Lugazi.

The fixture presents Steven Bogere with an opportunity to build on the 1-0 win over Express in their last game masterminded by Oliver Mbekeka.

Lugazi are aware that getting the first home win will be crucial while NEC will maintain their top spot with victory.
