Umar Kasumba scored the only goal of the game in the first half to take the Jogoos’ tally of points for the season to 58 points, eight more than they managed last season when they finished fourth, seven points adrift of winners KCCA.

The loss leaves URA fourth on the 16-team log with 48 points, one more point than last season but a slot below.

As it stands, the 16-time champions are five points below champions KCCA who still have a game against Sadolin Paints to play on crowning day.

KCCA will host Sadolin Paints at Phillip Omondi on the day and regardless of the outcome, they will be crowned champions for a 12th time in history.

Elsewhere, Vipers play hosts to The Saints at St. Mary’s Kitende, Kirinya Jinja SS face Proline at Njeru Technical Centre while Bul host Onduparaka at Kakindu.

The other fixtures will see JMC Hippos pay a courtesy visit to Bright Stars at Champions stadium, Matugga and the game of the day will see relegation fighting Lweza visit Police at Namboole.
