10-man Mbarara hold Ondu

Onduparaka 0-0 Mbarara City

Onduparaka moved up to second on the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) table despite being held goalless by 10-man Mbarara City in Arua on Tuesday.

The West Nilers trail leaders Police, who drew 2-2 with Maroons at Namboole, by a point.

Police lead the standings on 17 points, followed by Onduparaka on 16 and Vipers on 15.

Both Police and Onduparaka have played nine matches apiece, one more than Vipers.

Despite finishing the match a man down after Ibrahim Orit, Mbarara were good for a point from Arua, which left them 12th on 10 points.

Onduparaka have won four out of their nine matches while Mbarara have claimed just two wins.
