Onduparaka 1-1 KCCA

KCCA missed the opportunity to get back to the top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table after being held to a 1-1 draw Onduparaka on Thursday.

Denis Iguma scored KCCA’s goal on 18 minutes but the 13-time champions got a setback when Filbert Obenchan headed into his own net for Onduparaka’s equaliser just before the half time break.

The two were playing a rescheduled game that after the earlier encounter in Arua was abandoned due to crowd trouble.

This replay took place at Bombo Military Barracks ground in Luwero.

Substitute Sadat Anaku could have won it late for KCCA but his effort rattled the upright after he was played through by Patrick Kaddu.

The result keeps KCCA in second place on 32 points, one behind leaders Vipers SC.

Onduparaka stay 13th with 14 points from their opening 15 games.

The aforementioned next travel to Tooro United next Tuesday while KCCA host URA the following day.
