SC Villa have signed a five-year deal worth $ 750,000 (Shs 2.7 billion) with Global Tire Manufacturing company Linglong Tire to become their principal shirt sponsor from next season.
The China based side will replace Eco Pharmacy who were previously on the Villa shirt in 2021/22.
The deal which will see the sixteen times league champions earn $ 150,000 (Shs 543 million) per season is the biggest shirt deal in the history of Ugandan football.
Cathy Kao Head of International Business, representing Linglong Tire president Wang Weng said:
“It’s my honour to stand here and have this chance for this event. Linglong has had a corporate friendship with Villa for more than 15 years. The two are not joined for business relations only, we are more than friends, we are family.
“Wang and Omar have a good relationship. In the future, we want to work hand in hand, corporate with each other and bring good luck for the two parties. Our President Wang also loves Sports very much.
