StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL), URA, believe Faruku Katongole will greatly improved their defence in the the 2020/21 season.

The defender joined from Tooro United on a one-year loan deal and adds to the likes of Jackson Nunda, Galiwango Arafat, Hannington Ssebwalunyo and Davis Ssali to put pen to paper.

Others are Brian Nkuubi and Steven Mukwala.

ā€œI’m so excited to join one of the biggest teams in Uganda,” Katongole told his club website.

“URA really has some good defenders but I have come to add on the quality and competition on the squad.

“I know we have good players in Mbowa Patrick, Hudu Mulikyi, Nyakoojo Benjamin, and I have to work so so hard to get playing time.ā€

Katongole has good position sense, reads the game well, and always gives 100 percent.
