StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL), URA, believe Faruku Katongole will greatly improved their defence in the the 2020/21 season.
The defender joined from Tooro United on a one-year loan deal and adds to the likes of Jackson Nunda, Galiwango Arafat, Hannington Ssebwalunyo and Davis Ssali to put pen to paper.
Others are Brian Nkuubi and Steven Mukwala.
“I’m so excited to join one of the biggest teams in Uganda,” Katongole told his club website.
“URA really has some good defenders but I have come to add on the quality and competition on the squad.
“I know we have good players in Mbowa Patrick, Hudu Mulikyi, Nyakoojo Benjamin, and I have to work so so hard to get playing time.”
Katongole has good position sense, reads the game well, and always gives 100 percent.
