Lugazi host Mbarara City in a relegation six pointer on Wednesday as match day 27 begins.

The fixture at the Lugazi stadium in Najjembe could determine the safety of either with three rounds of matches to be played after.

The hosts, beat Buhimba United Saints in their last outing to move to 23 points and a win against the Ankole Lions will confirm their stay in the division for a second season running.

For the visitors, a win will also lift them from and above Lugazi in 12th position.

At Midigo, Calvary want to keep faint survival hopes with a win over Police who they face on this match day.

Their resurgence was disrupted by a 2-0 defeat at Entebbe UPPC but will want to build on their 1-0 win over KCCA to overcome the Cops.

Defeat on the day could confirm their relegation if results elsewhere go against them.
