Onduparaka Vs Vipers – Betway Green Light stadium, Arua
Ahead of their crucial league match against Onduparaka, Vipers’ coach Abdallah Mubiru is convinced with the response of his boys.
The two-time champions visit the Caterpillars on Tuesday on league resumption after the international break seeking maximum points to keep leaders KCCA in sight.
“The boys are responding well at training and we are positive,” he told upl.co.ug.
The venoms sit 3rd on the 16 team table, eight points adrift of leaders and face a side eager to avenge Uganda Cup defeat.
Although they are yet to lose at home, they have not been as aggressive as expected although giants KCCA and SC Villa were slayed in Arua.
Besides Nicholas Wadada, Hassan Wasswa Mawanda and Ismail Watenga who training with the national team, the rest of the players including Erisa Ssekisambu who missed the barren stalemate with Sadolin Paints are training under the watchful eyes of the coaches at the club.
