- Express Vs UPDF – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 4.30pm
After winning against Mbarara City, Express have an opportunity to jump out of the red zone if they beat visitors UPDF on Tuesday.
The Red Eagles host the army side at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku and victory over Steven Bogere’s men will see them leapfrog Mbarara City who are not in action till Wednesday.
“We want to build on the win over City,” said Coach Shafik Bisaso. “For us, every game is a final and this is no different,” he added.
But the Eagles must be wary of the side that nearly picked a point against champions KCCA, won 2-1 away to Police and also picked vital points in the second round.
Bogere’s side will miss the services of suspended Sulaimani Majanjalo but in Fahad Badiro, Joseph Janjali and Robert Nakyenalire will be vital.
A win for the six-time champions will move them above UPDF on goal difference.
UPDF are 12th on the 16-team log with 25 points, 3 more than Express who they beat 1-0 in the reverse fixture.
