KCCA 0-0 Arua Hill

KCCA’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) title ambitions suffered yet another setback as they were held goalless by Arua Hill at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Monday.

The Kasasiro Boys now trail table leaders Viper’s SC, who could stretch that further on Tuesday when they travel to URA, by six points with seven games to go.

KCCA moved to 46 points from 23 games, while impressive topflight debutants, Arua Hill, are fifth on 40 after 25 matches.

Morley Byekwaso, the KCCA coach, however, insists the title fight is still on.

“We have to continue trying to win our games. We have seven games left to play,” he said.

The game at Lugogo lacked a spark, with only a handful of chances between both sides. The league continues on Tuesday.
