  • Barifa stadium, Arua 4pm

Arua Hill will be desperate to avenge last season’s only home defeat when they host KCCA at Barifa on Saturday.

Charles Livingstone Mbabazi’s men avoided defeat at home in all but one game against the Kasasiro on match day three last season and have since gone twelve straight games unbeaten at Barifa.

After missing out on action on match day one, they start the campaign against a side that saw off Wakiso Giants challenge last weekend to win 3-2 at Lugogo.

KCCA’s Morley Byekwaso expects a physical encounter and admits the hosts will be desperate to put one behind his side.

“It will be a tough physical game against a good competitive side that fights for every ball,” said Byekwaso. “And after losing only against us last season, they will also have the element of revenge,” he added.

Emmanuel Wasswa and Said Mayanja miss out from the squad that featured last weekend while Julius Poloto, Denis Iguma and Derrick Ochan are not in the squad.

The hosts also start life minus Alfred Leku who was their go to man last season but have former KCCA forward Samuel Ssekamatte to bank on for goals.

Saturday fixtures – 4pm

  • Express vs URA – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku
  • Arua Hill vs KCCA – Barifa stadium, Arua
  • BUL vs UPDF – Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru
