Fahad Bayo and Halid Lwaliwa were missed as the table leaders Vipers fell to KCCA but they return when the Venoms visit Maroons on Friday.

The duo was part of the national team but their return gives Edward Golola’s men cover in both the defensive and attack.

The fixture will see league leading scorer Steven Mukwala sit out as he can’t face his parent team and so the Prison warders, winless in their past four games will hope Solomon Walusimbi dons his scoring boots.

Last season, Maroons were a hard nut to crack at home but already this season, KCCA won there 3-1 although the two games came very late in the game.

A win for the Venoms will ensure they end the first round on top of the log regardless of what happens in KCCA remaining fixtures in hand.
