Fahad Bayo is adamant he can fill the void left by strikers Edirisa Lubega and Nelson Ssenkatuka.
The two centre forwards left the club with Lubega joining an Austrian side in January this year whilst Ssenkatuka quit at the end of the season for Bright Stars.
The two were ahead in pecking order but Bayo now has the chance to take up the lead striker role.
“I strongly believe i can fill the void left by Nelson Ssenkatuka and Lubega Edrisa in case am given playing time at Proline,” he said. Last season i scored 6 goals for the club and i expect to score 10+ this season,” he added.
Bayo has already netted twice this season in the 2-0 win over Soana and he is optimistic his side will have a better season despite a low key start after winning just once in four games.
“We have a great team that can compete with the big guns,” he told swiftsports. “We started on a low note but the win against Soana will help to lift us and i believe we can finish among the top 5 this season,” he continued.
Before his goals, Proline were yet to register anything in the goals scored column this season.
