Wasswa Bbosa banks on decent home record as Express begin title defence with a tie against newly promoted Arua Hills at Wankulukuku on Friday.

The champions didn’t lose any fixture at home last season and Bbosa believes keeping that will be key to their title defence.

“Last season, we didn’t lose any game at home and we want to build on that as we get the campaign underway,” he stated.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides but Arua Hill has experienced players in their ranks that have recently tortured the Red Eagles while at Onduparaka.

Without injured Arthur Kiggundu and Godfrey Lwesibawa, Bbosa will hope his other key players led by Eric Kambale start off well.

The visitors who have had a busy window will hope their main signings Gadafi Wahab, Samuel Ssekamatte and Geriga Atendele among others click right away.

In other fixtures on the opening day, Ondu host UPDF while Soltilo Bright Stars are away to Mbarara City.
