Saturday April 9, 2016 Police Vs Bright Stars – Kavumba @ 4pm

Bright Stars make a short trip to Kavumba to face Police in the Azam Uganda Premier League seeking to stop a winless run that has seen them lose three successive games.

Prior to the streak, the Kawempe based side had kept seven successive clean sheets and were regarded as the best defensive side in the league.

However, conceding six in the previous three games hasn’t only seen their tally rise to 13 but they have also slipped from 6th to 10th on the standings and are just ten points from safety.

Going into the game, The Stars will still be without Head Coach Fred Kajoba in the dugout while skipper Bernard Muwanga is doubtful with an injury that saw him leave the pitch in the 2-1 loss to KCCA on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it’s not rosy for Police either although they are buoyant after holding champions Vipers to a goalless draw at the same venue in their last match.

The 2005 league champions sit 7th on the table with 33 points and maximum points may lift them to second if other teams falter.
