Bright Stars will be hoping for a swift return to winning ways when they host a resurgent Masavu on Tuesday at the Champions stadium, Mwererwe.

The Stars saw their good run put to a halt by a 1-0 loss to SC Villa on Saturday and Fred Kajoba has demanded instant reaction when Masavu visits.

“We were unfortunate against SC Villa,” said Kajoba. “But that’s behind us now and we want to return to winning ways against Masavu,” he added.

“It will be tough with the form they are enjoying but at home, we can beat up on anybody,” he added.

Masavu have won their last two games and are now 3rd from bottom on the log with 10 points, seven adrift of Bright Stars who sit 6th.

At Bombo, UPDF will hope to pick only their second win of the season when they host limping Kirinya Jinja SS who lost 1-0 to Onduparaka in their previous outings.

The visitors are without suspended Joel Madondo but in Musa Esenu and Ibrahim Kayiwa, they have goal threats UPDF must be wary of.

Elsewhere, Maroons host Mbarara City seeking to pick their first maximum points in four games.

The Prisons’ side have drawn their previous three but is yet to lose in the previous five games winning two.
