League debutants Wakiso Giants could have their defensive midfielder Lawrence Bukenya available for the remainder of the season.
The on loan signing from KCCA has been out since February 18 but has declared himself fit according to the club website.
“I feel okay now and I believe by the time the league returns, I will be 100% fit,” Bukenya told the club website. “For now, am working on my own due to the lockdown but will probably resume with my teammates in preparations for the final games,” he added.
Bukenya has missed his side’s past three league games against Kyetume, Busoga United and Vipers.
Wakiso Giants remaining league games are against Express, KCCA, URA, Maroons and SC Villa.
The dates for the games will be fixed in the due course following the suspension of all sports events in the country due to coronavirus pandemic.
